Anniversary.

Sphere: Related Content Hard to believe that its been a year since my world changed completely. My how time flies. Yet so much has happened in this past year...its incredible how much can change and how fast. I've spent some time figuring out who I am, and who I don't want to be. And now I'm hopefully on the path to making my life the one that I want it to be. I've applied to WCC and filled out my FAFSA so I'm just waiting to hear back on that. Got my fingers crossed. I applied for the Administrative Support Degree with a Specialization in Health Care Information Management. LMAO. Try saying that 10x fast. But its related to my current job, which I thoroughly enjoy, so I'm hoping to stick with it for quite some time (maybe after I get this degree it'll be easier for me to get on full-time there). I'm also debating spending some time rewriting my novel. I'd lost the flashdrive that I had it all saved on, and luckily (that's sarcasm) my computer crashed and lost the other copy I had. But I do have a hardcopy of one of the rough drafts, I just have a lot of remembering of added scenes and extra chapters that I had spent a year on writing. Wish me luck with that as well.

Well I'm out for now. :-) hope everyone else is doing as good as I feel that I currently am.

New Beginnings

Sphere: Related Content Since my birthday things have been going fairly well, still liking my new job, tho unfortunately I'm still PRN. Not even rating part-time yet, but hoping that will change this spring. Barely scraping by on the bills. I've met someone who is amazing. And I'm hoping to go back to school next fall. I've let Etsy and my writing slide for now, just focusing on life in general. But I def. miss doing that so I'll be back soon I hope. I'm enjoying living life, and not letting the little things get to me.

And I whole heartedly agree, albeit I haven't published my book yet so I don't have the actual experience, but how often do you hear of those midlist writers lasting? Exactly. Read the article, then go buy a NEW book, by someone who is just starting out. You'll feel better for helping someone and might actually discover a new writer, that you love. Plus, books make great gifts :) at least for us nerdy bookworms, which I admittedly am. Now I'm off to get my car unstuck from the snow at work, take it home then work on my novel some more. Yeah rewriting after having lost the completed version sucks, but honestly its time that I put forth some effort towards that dream. Hopefully, one day I'll be on of those new writers hoping that someone buys my book NEW! And on that note I'm out!

What's going on in C's Life

Sphere: Related Content So I've been uber busy with work, dating, cleaning house (boo!), mark., and getting ready to start deconstructing some blue jeans (woo hoo!!!).

As far as the dating goes, I really like the guy :) but I'm soooo new at all this I'm clueless as to how to act or how long you date before discussing being exclusive, etc. I've been asked out by someone else as well, and I don't know if I should go on a date with them b/c I absolutely do not want to do something stupid that would cause me to lose the current boy (well at 32 he's not a boy but you know what I mean) Do you discuss this, I mean...ugh...I have NO idea LOL. Poor CrystalRaen is clueless in the world of dating. :(
